Pay for the work your workspace does, not for seats.
Credits measure the work your workspace does: your AI and the web app working with your notes, and any Basic Memory agents you run. A credit costs $0.01. Every plan includes credits each month, and most workspaces never use them all. Over the last 30 days the typical paying workspace used about 400, and more than 8 in 10 stayed within Cloud's 1,900 — before adding agents.

Database work is measured at 111 credits per compute-hour. A completed agent run costs what its model and compute actually used — most runs use under 10 credits. Storage costs a tiny amount for notes; it adds up only if you upload gigabytes of files, such as PDFs. When nobody is working, the database sleeps and uses nothing.

A spending limit is on from day one
Cloud stops at $38 a month, Pro at $297, and Business at $498 unless you change it. We email you at 50%, 80%, and 100% of your included credits, and at 80% of your limit. At the limit your workspace keeps working for one more day, then pauses anything that needs the database until you raise the limit or your next billing period starts. Your notes are never deleted.
Extra credits cost the same as included ones
Past your included credits, each credit is $0.01, added to your next invoice. Owners and admins can raise or lower the spending limit in billing settings.
How Basic Memory agents are charged
Each run uses credits for the model and compute it takes, under 10 for most runs. They come out of your plan's monthly credits, the same pool as the rest of your workspace, so Cloud's 1,900 covers roughly 190 runs. There's no per-agent fee, and every run's usage shows up on the Usage page, by agent.

The trial never bills for usage
The 7-day Cloud trial includes 500 credits and never charges for usage. If you use them all, work pauses until your plan starts. Nothing is charged until the trial ends.
On an older plan?
Nothing changes unless you switch.
Do I have to switch?
No. If you subscribed to a seat-based plan before usage plans launched on October 26, 2026, you keep your plan and your price. We don't move anyone.
Why would I switch?
- Basic Memory agents, which run only on usage plans
- One price per workspace, not per person: Cloud covers 2 people, Pro 5, Business 25
- Room for more agent API keys on Pro (10) and Business (no limit). Older plans can add keys only up to 3, though keys you already have keep working
- No per-seat caps on notes or daily updates. Usage is metered in credits, with a spending limit you set
What changes when I switch?
It's the same workspace: your notes, members, and API keys stay. Usage is paid in credits and billed monthly, and each plan has a member limit: 2 on Cloud, 5 on Pro, 25 on Business. Business keeps every feature you have now. Pro gives up audit logs, invite-only projects, and the User Admin role. Cloud also gives up read-only and project-scoped API keys, and keeps snapshots for 7 days instead of 30.
How do I switch?
The workspace owner opens Settings → Billing in the app and picks a plan. It uses the same card with no checkout, and whatever is left of the period you already paid for is credited toward the new plan. More than 25 people? Talk to us.
